Abstract

The current study showed the genus Hydrotaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 recorded for the first time to

Iraqi entomofauna and with its two species H.aenescens (Wiedemann, 1830) and H. albuquerquei Lopes,

1985.The specimens collected from carcasses of dogs. The photos taken by the aid of dino light digital

microscope. The identification of diagnostic characters by using many taxonomical keys.
