Abstract

The present study was conducted to estimate the concentration of lead and cadmium element in gill and

the Tigris River in the province of DhiQar. The results of the present study that the concentration of trace
elements (cadmium and lead) in the gills was higher than delimiters standard for joining the World Health
where it is dangerous for human consumption, either in the muscles was lower concentration of them in the
gills, we conclude from this study that fish consumption Farm at the present time does not cause marked
