Abstract

There is no doubt that corruption is a growing scourge in all countries due to its direct negative impact on
the development of societies and limiting their development. It has also become a phenomenon with social,
economic and political aspects. Combating it does not require the concerted efforts of one state institutions
only, but rather the necessity for states to cooperate with each other to curb administrative and financial
corruption, Since 1996, international anti-corruption conventions have served to raise political commitments
to fight corruption and have defined basic international standards and practices to tackle corruption. The
medical sector in Iraq suffers from corruption in its various health and administrative sectors.
