Abstract

Tooth eruption, is a developmental process which occurs in a 3–dimension, and various factors are considered
to play a major role during tooth eruption. Numerous theories are put forward to explain this process in a
different perspective. A better elucidation and understanding of this entire process is essential to identify the
cause behind any deviations in eruption from the normal and in treating the same.
